How the natural world shapes my creative process

When people ask where my design inspiration comes from, the answer is surprisingly simple: nature.

Growing up and working in Minnesota, I’m constantly surrounded by forests, lakes, changing seasons, and wide open skies. These elements shape how I see color, form, balance, and rhythm – often long before I open a design program.

Nature has a way of creating beauty without trying too hard. It’s balanced, intentional, and endlessly creative. Those same qualities are what I strive to bring into every brand I design.
