Give
Even though I’m not one of those types that choose a word each year, God seems to echo one in my heart as a theme. And this year, the word give. Giving is truly better than receiving - but it’s not always comfortable.
We did not send out Christmas cards this year. I say it’s due to budget cuts and time management. I love sharing a flattering photo of my perfect little family with everyone, especially since we don’t post photos of our daughter on social media, but my favorite part of our Christmas card is always a scripture card that I package with it. A tradition I started about six years ago as a simple way of glorifying God and thanking Him for the creative gift He has given me.
